Vince Cable: People crave 'sensible' policies

Speaking at the Liberal Democrat conference in Bournemouth, Sir Vince Cable says people "crave" the sort of "moderate, sensible, middle-of-the-road" policies his party offers.

In an interview with the BBC's Vicki Young, the Lib Dem leader also promises "radical new ideas" and says British politics is currently "very volatile", offering opportunities for his party.
