Labour Party conference: Delegate collapses on stage
A Labour delegate has collapsed while addressing the party conference in Brighton.
The woman was calling for time to debate a motion on the closure of Poole hospital’s accident and emergency ward and other services. She was helped by paramedics and left the stage in a wheelchair to cheers from the hall.
