Philip Davies says he is "often pilloried" for views on gender equality

Conservative MP Philip Davies argued issues affecting men are often neglected, during a Westminster Hall debate on International Men's Day.

He said that he was "often pilloried for saying that men and women should be treated equally", and accused "militant feminists" of trying to "close down the debate".
