Jeremy Corbyn: Anti-Semitism complaints 'exaggerated'

Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said numbers of anti-Semitism complaints have been "exaggerated".

He said the recommendations made by Shami Chakrabarti, to deal with the issue within the Labour party, were not implemented quickly enough.

Mr Corbyn made the comments before his suspension from the Labour party was announced. He has also had the whip removed from the Parliamentary Labour Party

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has released a report into the Labour Party's handling of complaints of anti-Semitism.
