Patel: Women and girls must feel safe walking our streets
The home secretary has spoken of the fear women have every day while walking alone.
Priti Patel said she understands why the death of Sarah Everard has ignited such anger.
She added that the Domestic Abuse Bill, due to become law next month, “will transform our collective response to this abhorrent crime”.
