Christian Wakeford: Decision took many sleepless nights

A former Tory MP who defected to Labour insisted the decision took "many months" to be made.

Christian Wakeford, who represents Bury South, said he had "sleepless nights" over the move.

But he believed it was the right decision for him and his constituents.
