Truss on Ukraine: We did not stand up to Russia early enough
The West "did not do enough" about Russia and did not spend enough on defence, the prime minister has said.
Liz Truss told the Conservative party conference Britain would stand with Ukraine "however long it takes" and there should be no deal to trade away Ukrainian land.
She received a standing ovation as she told activists: “Ukraine can win, Ukraine must win, and Ukraine will win.”
