Covid inquiry: PM 'deeply sorry to all who lost loved ones'
The prime minister has said he was "deeply sorry to all those who lost loved ones" during the pandemic as he opened his evidence to the Covid inquiry.
Rishi Sunak, who was chancellor in the early stages of the pandemic, said it was "important that we learn the lessons so that we can be better prepared in the future".
