PM challenged to repeat Badenoch’s Post Office claims
Sir Keir Starmer asked Rishi Sunak if he would repeat Kemi Badenoch’s allegation that the former Post Office chairman was “lying” over claims he was told to "go slow" on compensation for postmasters.
The business secretary has rejected claims by Henry Staunton that he was told to slow down compensation claims to hundreds of sub-postmasters in the Horizon software scandal and to “limp towards” the next election.
The PM told the Commons the government has taken “unprecedented steps” to sort compensation and justice.
