Scottish Budget breakdown: First Minister's Office

The Scottish government has announced its final draft budget before next May's election, which includes cuts of about £1bn.
Here is a look at the detailed budget plans.

2011-12 draft budget - £255m
2010-11 budget - £279m
This department takes the lead in overall strategic government direction and, in particular, policy on culture, Europe and UK government relations.
The office has decided to prioritise spending on "cultural experiences" and the creative industries.
Free access to national collections will continue, but severe cutbacks mean new requests for support from areas such as collections and performing companies are unlikely to be approved.
The core funding for the main arts quango - Creative Scotland - will be protected, at £35.5m.
Other funding headlines include;
the buggest funding drop comes in culture and Gaelic, which will be reduced from £194.2m to £174.9m
conservation agency Historic Scotland has been told to make savings, and will see a £2m fall in its budget
a total of £77m has been allocated for cultural collections, and national performing companies will get £24m
and the £20m capital budget, delivering projects like Dundee's waterfront regeneration, will be maintained
