ABERDEEN
Many schools are opening late to assist parents amid travel problems. Woodlands School is closed to pupils.

ABERDEENSHIRE
A total of 60 schools are closed to pupils, however 22 of those remain open for staff. Many other schools are affected by school transport not operating or changes to transport routes.

ANGUS
Updates and details are available on the council's live update page, external. There were several closures on Monday.
ARGYLL AND BUTE
No closures have been announced for Tuesday. Updates will be posted on the council website.
Luing Primary School will be closed on Wednesday because of work on its electricity supply. The school will reopen after the holidays.
CLACKMANNANSHIRE
The council said it was aiming to open all schools on Tuesday, with some restrictions on school transport.

COMHAIRLE NAN EILEAN SIAR
No closures have been announced for Tuesday. Parents advised to check the comhairle's website for the latest updates.
DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY
Lincluden and Troqueer primaries were shut due to water supply problems. Parents advised to check the council's website for latest updates.
DUNDEE
All schools are open. Parents advised to check the council's website for latest updates.
EAST AYRSHIRE
All schools and nurseries are currently open.

EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE
All East Dunbartonshire Council Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Special Schools and Nurseries are open.

EAST LOTHIAN
All schools and nurseries open on Tuesday apart from Campie nursery.
Any other closures will be announced on the council website.
EAST RENFREWSHIRE
All schools expected to open as normal on Tuesday.

EDINBURGH
All schools are set to open on Tuesday. The only exception is that Davidson's Mains nursery will remain closed.
Head teachers will make individual school assessments on Tuesday morning and any closures will be notified as early as possible.

FALKIRK
The council intends to open all schools.
Pupils of St Patrick's RC Primary, which has been closed due to a burst water main, should check with the school.

FIFE
Buckhaven High School will only be open to S5 + S6, and Waid Academy will only be open to S4/S5/S6 pupils.
Gateside Primary School and Marie's R C Primary School are closed.
Camdean Nursery and Dunmore Nursery are closed due to heating problems.

GLASGOW
All schools are open.

HIGHLAND
Nine schools are affected. Most are open but have no school transport. Check council website for updates.
INVERCLYDE
All of Inverclyde's schools and educational establishments will be OPEN on Tuesday EXCEPT for St Mary's Primary School, Patrick Street, Greenock. The school will be shut to pupils because of burst water pipes however staff should report to the school as normal. Kelly Street Nursery will accommodate St Mary's Nursery children. Parents will be notified as soon as repairs have been completed.
MIDLOTHIAN
Schools in Midlothian are planned to open as normal on Tuesday. Parents or carers should make their own assessment about whether or not they feel it is safe for their children to make their way to school.
MORAY
A handful of primaries are closed to everyone - Cullen, Millbank, Portgordon and Portknockie - and Newmill is closed to pupils.

NORTH AYRSHIRE
It is hoped that all North Ayrshire schools will be open on Tuesday. However, due to possible transport difficulties on the Isle of Arran, this information is subject to change.

NORTH LANARKSHIRE
No disruption to North Lanarkshire Council schools or transport services is anticipated.

ORKNEY ISLANDS
All schools are open.
School closure information is available via BBC Radio Orkney (found at 93.7 FM) and broadcast at 0730 GMT.

RENFREWSHIRE
No reports of school closures or service disruption for Tuesday
SCOTTISH BORDERS
All Scottish Borders Schools are planning to open as normal. Details will be updated on council website or listen to BBC Radio Scotland local bulletins.
SHETLAND ISLANDS
All schools are open except Whalsay Junior High School, which is closed. Check the council website for latest updates.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE

STIRLING
