Scottish Labour has announced a reshuffle of its front bench Holyrood team, after losing several key figures in the election.

Andy Kerr and Tom McCabe were among the senior Labour figures who lost their seats in the 5 May ballot, which saw the SNP win an outright majority.

Richard Baker has moved from justice to take on Mr Kerr's finance brief. Ken Macintosh becomes culture spokesman.

Scottish Labour leader Iain Gray has said he will step down in the autumn.

He said: "Where there is common ground and we agree what is best for Scotland, Labour will work with the government, but where we disagree we will debate vigorously.

"Labour lost able and experienced members at the election but we have a fresh intake of talent who I am sure the next leader will want to draw on in the future."
