Fifty jobs are to be created at Glasgow Airport following expansion of the airline Jet2.com.
The company will have a third aeroplane based at the airport from summer next year to increase capacity on its flights.
The jobs being created will include pilots, cabin crew and ground staff.
About 250,000 passengers have flown with the airline from Glasgow to 16 destinations, including Majorca, Turkey and Cyprus, in the past year.
Steve Heapy, chief commercial officer of Jet2.com, said: "Our exciting plans for 2012 will mean even more Glasgow passengers will have direct access to an increasing number of fantastic destinations."
