Glasgow Queen Street quiet as tunnel work begins

Glasgow's Queen Street Station was quiet during the first day of work to renovate the tunnel which leads into the station.

The engineering works on the line used by Aberdeen, Edinburgh and and Stirling rail services are expected to be completed in August.

Passengers have been advised that most journeys will take about 25 minutes longer.
