Holyrood opposition parties react to Scottish budget
Leaders of the opposition parties in Holyrood give their reaction to the first budget since Holyrood gained its new tax-raising powers.
The Scottish Conservative's Murdo Fraser welcomed what he said was a "dramatic climb down" on using council tax funding for an educational attainment fund.
Scottish Labour said the budget means a cut of £327m for public services. Party leader Kezia Dugdale accused the SNP government of "holding councils to ransom", by forcing them to make-up the shortfall.
Patrick Harvie, Scottish Greens co-convener, called for "meaningful changes" to the budget.
Cuts to education and Highlands and Islands Enterprise are detrimental to economic growth, said Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie.
