Call to save funding for jogging programme

Scotland's governing body for athletics has said the Scottish Government should reinstate funding for its successful community programme "JogScotland".

The programme encourages people to take up exercise and has attracted 40,000 members across the country.

Scottish Athletics said JogScotland's future is at significant risk after £100,000 of Government funding for the programme was removed.
