Scottish local elections: Aberdeenshire election hustings
Council funding, local planning decisions and teacher shortages were among the issues up for debate at a BBC Radio Scotland hustings in Aberdeen on Tuesday.
The candidates vying to become a councillor in Aberdeenshire went head-to-head in a debate recorded at the BBC's Aberdeen studios.
Steven Duff hosted panellists Peter Argyle who is the Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate, Martin Ford of the Scottish Greens, Jim Gifford of the Scottish Conservatives, Scottish Labour's Alison Evison, the SNP's Richard Thomson and Independent candidate Norman Smith.
