The results of the local elections in Scotland show the electorate has an "appetite" for another independence referendum, , says the deputy leader of the SNP in Westminster.

Kirsten Oswald MP refuted the idea that the country was "stuck" in the same position it was eight years ago.

Speaking on BBC Scotland's The Sunday Show she said that people in Scotland are looking to the future.
