'Don't risk overseas weight loss surgery'
Politicians have joined to urge patients not to risk travelling overseas in pursuit of weight loss surgery.
Conservative MSP Dr Sandesh Gulhane asked John Swinney to advise caution after doctors raised concerns over the dangers of obese Scots travelling abroad.
The deputy first minister, standing in for Nicola Sturgeon at First Minister's Questions, said the consequences could bear costs for the NHS and individuals.
