Crews tackle wildfire burning for three days in West Calder

Fire crews have been battling a wildfire in West Lothian which has been burning for days.

The blaze on moorland near West Calder was first reported on Wednesday afternoon.

Along with 12 fire engines, a helicopter has been used to prevent the fire from spreading in the remote area.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "Crews remain in attendance as they work to make the area safe."
