'Doddie was a brilliant friend and an inspiration'
Scotland rugby union head coach Gregor Townsend has described rugby legend Doddie Weir as a brilliant friend and a great team mate.
Doddie died aged 52 after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease six years ago.
Friends, family, and members of the rugby community gathered at Melrose Parish Church to pay their respects.
