Inside the Mackintosh Building restoration project

The first phase of a project to restore Glasgow's iconic Mackintosh Building has been completed.

Thousands of tonnes of debris have been removed from the shell of the Glasgow School of Art building, which was gutted by a major fire in 2018.

Eleanor Magennis, GSA Director of Estates, said work will continue to strengthen the building and that a temporary roof structure will be constructed.
