People across Scotland have been celebrating the Coronation of King Charles.
From big screen events to smaller gatherings, thousands turned out to mark the first occasion of its kind since 1953.
BBC Scotland takes a look at a selection of images from a historic day.

Crowds gathered at Ross Bandstand in Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens to watch the ceremony.

Natasha Blackman watched the event with her 13-year-old son Freddie Blackman in Edinburgh.

First Minister Humza Yousaf and his wife Nadia El-Nakla at the Coronation in London. Mr Yousaf wore a Slanj kilt in the Spirit of Glasgow tartan with an Asian fusion-style jacket and waistcoat designed by Glasgow-based Anjali Modha.

Georgia Henry from Cumbernauld was chosen to volunteer in Hyde Park in London during the Coronation. She said: "It's a pleasure to be invited to come along and help out."

Children at King Charles's former school Gordonstoun in Moray recreated his Coronation on Friday.

The Gordonstoun coronation even featured a crowd waving Union Jacks.

Gordonstoun students also took part in a Coronation run and swim on Saturday morning.

Erskine Care Home, which was opened by King Charles in 2000, tuned into the ceremony.

A gun salute was fired by the 105th Regiment Royal Artillery at Edinburgh Castle.

The band of 6th Battalion and 7th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland attended the 21-gun salute in Edinburgh.

These young boys were dressed for occasion in Edinburgh.

Gwen Smith, 85, from London and her daughter in law Louise Gibson-Ellis, 52, from Nebraska, US, celebrated the coronation at Balmoral Castle.

People watched the Coronation livestreamed from London to Glasgow Cathedral.
