A white car smashed into the front room of the property

Emergency services have been called to an incident in Fife after a car crashed through the front wall of a house.

Police Scotland said officers were dispatched to Woodside Way, Glenrothes just before 20:00 on Friday.

A white car could be seen inside the front room of the property, after smashing through a garden wall and the front windows of the building. It is not known if anyone has been injured.

The property is close to a busy main road next to a roundabout.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a report of a car crashing into a house in the Woodside Way area of Glenrothes.

"Emergency services are in attendance and inquiries are ongoing. There is no further information at this time."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said its crews also remained in attendance late on Friday evening.

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
