Glen Coe ridge more akin to rock climb than hillwalk - climber

Author and mountaineering expert Dan Bailey discusses the Aonach Eagach Ridge in Glen Coe, where three climbers were found dead after failing to return from a hike.

Mr Bailey likens the ridge to mountaineering or a rock climb rather than a hillwalk.

"You're climbing up and over rocky pinnacles, so it's spectacular, but also quite an uncompromising location," he told the BBC.
