A huge wave hits Macduff in Aberdeenshire during Storm Babet.

Storm Babet has been moving across Scotland bringing high winds, heavy rain and flooding.

The north east of the country has been particularly badly affected with a rate Met Office red warning put in place.

It has produced dramatic scenes in numerous locations - mainly along the east coast.

Pennan in Aberdeenshire was another location affected by the storm.

Rescue services have been stretched coping with the impact of flooding.

Cullen in Moray is another spot where the winds have been strong.

Houses and cars were flooded as the Dighty Burn in Dundee overflowed.
