Family trapped in flooded Brechin home await rescue

The Demontis family decided not to evacuate before Brechin was hit by heavy winds and torrential rain during Storm Babet.

With the ground floor of their house flooded, Ms Demontis and her two sons have set up camp upstairs. There was no electricity, but she said the family were fine - "As long as we can get out."
