Firefighters tackle blaze at block of flats in Lochgelly

A four-storey block of flats in Fife has been wrecked by fire after a large blaze on Monday evening.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said seven fire engines and two height vehicles were dispatched to the building on Francis Street in Lochgelly at about 19:00.

Eyewitness footage showed flames in the window of an upper flat, which spread and engulfed the roof of the building.

The SFRS said there were no reports of any casualties.
