Scotch on the Rocks: The controversial TV drama locked away for 50 years

Scotch on the Rocks told the fictional story of the paramilitary wing of an organisation seeking Scottish independence.

The TV drama, based on a book by Douglas Hurd and Andrew Osmond, was controversial when it was first screened in 1973.

The BBC later said it would not air the programme again, following complaints from the SNP.
