The Edinburgh school installing detectors to tackle vaping
The popularity of vaping among teenagers has been rising in recent years - and the impact is being felt in classrooms.
In an effort to control the issue, The Royal High School in Edinburgh has installed a number of sensors in its three main bathrooms.
When the devices detect the chemicals in e-cigarettes, a loud alarm sounds and a text message is automatically sent to alert teaching staff.
