Power of Holyrood 'effectively in Alba MSP's hands'
Alex Salmond says the first minister has effectively put the decision-making power of the parliament in the Alba Party's hands.
The former first minister and Alba leader said the manner in which Humza Yousaf's ended the SNP-Green power-sharing agreement had created a lot of enemies.
Mr Yousaf is now facing a no-confidence vote after the collapse of the deal.
Mr Salmond said the first minister would have to work to secure the vote of the parliament's single Alba MSP Ash Regan.
With the electoral arithmetic in Holyrood, this could effectively help guard against the loss of a no-confidence vote.
