Edinburgh Airport has reopened after being evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious package.
The terminal was evacuated at about 1130 GMT when the alarm was raised by staff in the central search area.
Several hundred people left the building and the police and army bomb squad were called in before the all-clear was given at 1230 GMT.
Airport operator BAA said passengers could now travel to the airport as normal and no delays were expected.
Flights continued to land and take off during the investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "Lothian and Borders Police can confirm Edinburgh Airport has been evacuated this morning following the discovery of a suspicious package."
