A 6ft snake has been reported missing to the police in West Lothian.

The corn snake, which has red and orange striped markings on its back with a black and white checked pattern underneath, disappeared on Tuesday.

The snake, which is not venomous, was reported missing from an address in Oldwood Place in Eliburn, Livingston.
