The men admitted stealing 30 ducks during a vandalism spree

Two men have admitted stealing 30 ducks during a vandalism spree at a Fife farm.

Brandon Robb, 17, and Benjamin Murray, 29, took the birds from Meikle Balquhomrie Farm in Leslie, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court heard.

The pair, both from Leslie, were originally accused of stealing 90 ducks at the premises between 29 July and 1 August 2013.

Their plea of guilty of stealing 30 was accepted by the prosecution.

Sheriff Richard MacFarlane deferred sentencing for social justice work reports.
