James Hogg and Kieran Hutcheon charged with Chinese takeaway owner murder bid

Two more men have been charged with the attempted murder of the owner of a Chinese takeaway in Edinburgh.
James Hogg, 24, and Kieran Hutcheon, 19, appeared separately in private before Sheriff Richard Clark at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
No plea or declaration was made and the cases were continued for further inquiry. Both were remanded in custody.
Jie Yu, 37, who owns the Peking Garden takeaway in West Pilton Park was stabbed in an attack on Wednesday.
They were charged with attempted murder and the theft of a car.
The offences were said to have been racially aggravated.
Gary Reid, 18, appeared in court in connection with the incident on Monday on similar charges. He was remanded in custody.
