The 69th Edinburgh International Film Festival drew to a close on Sunday, with the screening of Iona, Many of the cast attended the closing gala at the Festival Theatre.

Award winning LA screenwriter and actress, Gren Wells, was in Edinburgh for the UK premiere of The Road Within. The film stars The Misfits' Robert Sheehan (pictured) as Vincent, a Tourette's sufferer.

The Comic strip Presents and Shallow Grave actor, Keith Allen, attended the world premiere of Hector (directed by Jake Gavin), starring Peter Mullan as an affable homeless pensioner, in which Allen and Stephen Tomkinson also star.

David Street's documentary, Battle Mountain: Graeme Obree's Story follows the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame cycling legend, as he attempts to break the human-powered speed world record in Nevada.

Marielle Heller's The Diary of a Teenage Girl won the Award for Best International Feature Film. English actress Bel Powley stars as Minnie, a young cartoonist in San Francisco, alongside True Blood and Zoolander star, Sweden's Alexander Skarsgård.

Multi-talented musician Neil Innes appeared in conversation in A Half of Innes, in which he demonstrated why he has become known as the seventh member of the legendary Monty Python team.
