Man dies after fire breaks out at house in Leven

The fire broke out at a house in Waggon Road in Leven

A man has been killed after a fire broke out at a house in Leven, Fife.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property in Waggon Road at the junction with Letham Terrace, Leven, at about 07:40.

The man, who was in his 30s, was found dead at the scene.

The fire was put out just after 08:00 but a fire crew remained at the scene ventilating the property and ensuring the area was made safe. An investigation will be carried out.
