Starbank Park and Rouken Glen Park shortlisted for award

Friends of Starbank Park have been working on the walled garden

A group of Edinburgh residents have been shortlisted, alongside an East Renfrewshire Park, for their work to improve green spaces.

The Friends of Starbank Park and Rouken Glen Park are in contention for prizes in the UK's Field in Trust awards, which will be announced next week.

The Starbank group said it was thrilled to be recognised.

The group has been working to transform the walled garden on the shores of the Forth into a vibrant community hub.
