Driver injured after car and lorry crash on M8 near Edinburgh

A driver has been taken to hospital after a car overturned following a crash with a Tesco lorry near Edinburgh.
Police Scotland said the motorist suffered injuries in the collision at Hermiston Gate, at junction one of the westbound M8.
The road has remained closed since the crash, which happened at about 09:20.
Emergency crews took the injured driver to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four appliances and a heavy rescue vehicle to the scene.
No one else is understood to have been hurt.
A spokesperson for Tesco confirmed a heavy goods vehicle operated by a contractor, Russell Logistics, had been involved in the crash.
