Woman, 68, dies after car crash involving two HGVs in Edinburgh

A 68-year-old woman has died after her car was involved in a collision with two HGVs on the Edinburgh City Bypass.
Police Scotland said the incident happened on the A720 at Dreghorn at about 12:50 on Thursday.
The woman, who has not been named, was driving a white Ford Kuga and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers, a 70-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
No details about their condition have been released.
The road was closed while investigations were carried out and fully reopened less than three hours later.
