Biker, 49, dies in crash with car in Rosyth

A car and motorbike collided in Rosyth on Sunday

A 49-year-old biker has died in a crash with a car in Fife.

Police were called to the incident in Rosyth involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a BMW at about 17:00 on Sunday

The man was pronounced dead at the scene on Queensferry Road at Aberlour Street. The road was closed for around six hours for police investigations. The car driver was not injured.

Sgt Scott Kirkpatrick said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died at this very difficult time."

Police have urged anyone with information to get in touch.
