Glasgow Subway re-opens after flooding at Partick

Glasgow's Subway system has fully re-opened after heavy rain caused flooding at Partick station.

Both circles were closed for a short time after 09:00 before a partial re-opening supplemented by bus services.

Operator, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT), said at 14:10 that the system was running normally.

SPT's MyBus services - M11 Inverclyde, M91 Glasgow South West, M93 Glasgow North East and M94 Glasgow South East - were suspended for the day.

They will resume on Wednesday morning.

The underground system will be completely closed on Wednesday due to a day of industrial action by staff.
