Former world boxing champion Scott Harrison has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a supermarket on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Harrison was released from a Spanish jail last year after serving a sentence for theft and assault.
A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said a 34-year-old man had been arrested in connection with an alleged theft and minor public disorder offence.
The alleged incident took place at Tesco in Rutherglen early on Wednesday.
Harrison, from Cambuslang, was later released.
He is due to make a comeback in Blackpool next week.
