SFA sue Craig Whyte over unpaid fines of £200,000

Mr Whyte was banned for life from any involvement in Scottish football
The Scottish Football Association has taken former Rangers owner Craig Whyte to court over unpaid fines of £200,000.
The sanctions were imposed after Mr Whyte was found guilty last year of bringing the game into disrepute during his tenure at the club.
The SFA confirmed earlier this year that a writ had been served on Mr Whyte following a number of warnings.
The 42-year-old was represented but not present when the case called at Glasgow Sheriff Court. The case was continued.
Life ban
An SFA judicial panel tribunal in April last year found Mr Whyte guilty of four separate breaches of association rules.
Fines of £50,000 were imposed for each breach of the rules.
He was also banned for life from any involvement in Scottish football.
The ruling stated that the "sanctions shall be paid within 30 days, with interest of 4% per annum over the base lending rate of Bank of Scotland plc from the date of determination until paid."
