Man charged after £1m heroin raid in Glasgow

Heroin with an estimated street value of £1m has been seized at an address in the east end of Glasgow.
Officers from Police Scotland searched the property in Inverleith Street, Carntyne, at about 09:15 on Wednesday.
They also found a quantity of tablets, a firearm and ammunition.
Police said that a 33-year-old man had been charged in connection with the operation. He was released on an undertaking that he would appear at court at a later date.
A report has also been sent to the procurator fiscal.
