The 25th Glasgow Mela took place on Sunday in Kelvingrove Park

Acrobats, musicians, magicians and dancers wandered around Kelvingrove park entertaining people

The Rajasthan Heritage brass band were a big hit as they marched around the park

Eight musicians from the villages surrounding Jaipur, the “Pink City”, make up the core of this band

As well as the entertainment, visitors could sample a variety of food from around the world

The Mela was attended by 40,000 people

Dotted around the park, yellow umbrellas advertised kulfi, an Indian dessert similar to ice cream

Parts of the park were also transformed into a funfair

Even the weather behaved itself, as families came out to enjoy the sun

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers were amongst those who performed on the Maharaja stage
