Ayrshire rail services disrupted by building fire

Rail services in Ayrshire have been disrupted following a building fire close to the line.
The village of Gatehead was temporarily closed to traffic so that emergency services could deal with the incident.
ScotRail said the building had to be demolished before the line between Kilmarnock and Ayr could be reopened.
Replacement buses are being laid on and passengers have been advised to check the Scotrail website, external for the latest updates.
Services between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock and Glasgow Central and Ayr were running as scheduled.
The A759 was closed in both directions while investigations were carried out at the site, which is located between the B7064 and B751.
ScotRail said the fire-damaged building had been condemned by engineers and needed to be demolished.
The company tweeted, external: "They are currently putting together a demolition team and estimates for completion of demolition will be given when available."
