Man charged in connection with death of Daniel Greer in Airdrie

Detectives investigating the death of a man in his North Lanarkshire home have made an arrest.
The body of Daniel Greer, 33, was discovered in Rankin Crescent, in the Greengairs area of Airdrie, at about 12:55 on Monday.
Police Scotland confirmed a 43-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
A force spokeswoman said inquiries are ongoing and thanked local people for their help.
The family of Daniel Greer issued a statement through Police Scotland.
"He was a much loved member of our family and he will be sadly missed," it said.
"My Darling boy Daniel , life will never be the same without you. We will always love you."
