Police probe into baby death in South Lanarkshire

The death of a baby in South Lanarkshire is being investigated by police.

Officers were called to an address in Larkhall on Friday following reports that an eight-month-old child had died.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.

A report will be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.
