Two men charged over assault at Johnstone golf club

Two men have been arrested and charged following an alleged assault at a Renfrewshire golf course last month.
A 49-year-old dog walker was left with a serious head injury after being attacked at Cochrane Castle Golf Club, Johnstone, on Sunday 1 May.
Police said the arrested men, aged 28 and 55, had been charged and released to appear in court at a later date.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
